Dust Devil

in my diary of forever
dust dancing in the weather
today's page of a thousand unspoken
"so how's your view on life reflect?"
uninterrupted, vast and unbroken
except for the watery shimmer
blurring my horizon with glimmer
from the grit I blinked in on the road
smudging the red and the yellow
distorting the line of my vision
white light infinite to zero
the unforeseen collision
