Flashing fangs and a fierce pose. Ambush predator tactics, both the Pike's and my own, fully engaged during a low visibility dive. Pikes are moody fish! They can be shy, stand-offish, brazen, aggressive, in-your-face curious - making for a great subject to experiment behind the lens with. This one was lying in wait when I almost swam into it and let me stay awhile before firing off like a torpedo, into the gloom.
