Small World

Tiny oxygenating bubbles in a strange new, water silk world. This is Spirogyra, a single celled, filamentous algae that forms into long chains. The bubbles (in this artistic interpretation) reflect the world around them, and emerge during the process of photosynthesis.

Image shot with a Nauticam SMC, an off camera light, twin INON s2000 strobes.
