This diminutive superhero is a Dwarf cuttlefish. It has three hearts, blue-green blood, and a mesmerising, colour-changing ability. Lit with soft torch light, my image shows one of the effects the cephalopod is able to display. A luminous, iridescence akin to a set of pulsing LED lights. Cuttlefish use colour and skin texture changes for a host of purposes; to attract potential mates, for camouflage, and to distract prey with a flashy display of ever-changing colour.
